Trout Crack
Originating in the Ozark's, the title basically says it all because southern trout are driving crazy by this pattern. Much like a Crackleback, this pattern can be effectively fished in any column of water. When sunk the hackle acts as a translucent case protecting a precious pupa. When fished on top of the water the hackle creates an action that mimics a mayfly hovering over the surface laying eggs.
