Bread Line Emerger

When mayflies are hatching, fish will readily target emergers as the hatch begins. Fish commonly wait as nymphs wonder from the depths to the surface emergering into the bugs we most commonly see in the air. While this is happening fish will hold up in feeding zones and wait for the easy meal to drift to them. This pattern is designed to replicate a simple emerger, with a name that is a bit tongue and cheek.
