Mop Hopper

We combined two of the greatest fly tying materials into a heck of a nice terrestrial. All the benefits of foam (high floating, durable) with the wiggly properties of the mop material. Use this pattern from around the end of July to late September. The mop material makes the hopper appear injured as it will sink into the water, with the front end staying high and dry (add flotant to the foam for maximum performance). You can catch some real lunkers with this fly during Hopper season. Great for all game fish, including trout and bass.
