Peacock is one of the most used materials in fly tying. It has an iridescence to it that is not able to be replicated through synthetics. The peacock caddis is a caddis fly, hackled at the front and rear of the fly, with a peacock thorax and wings. A great pattern for when a traditional Elk Hair Caddis isn't working.
