Hendricksons can be a prolific hatch on many rivers, however, I would happily fish this fly anytime I saw brown mayflies. Emergers are the prefect fly to present just as the you start seeing bugs come off the water. As a bug emergers from the water fish see them as easy pickings and readily slurp them up.
