Spinners are the adult stage of mayfly life that involves reproduction. Our spinner selection focuses on the spent-wing spinners, when mayflies are literally 'dropping like flies'. There are many times when fish ONLY feed on the 'spinner fall', for them there is no easier pickens. Callibaetis are the most important 'spinner fall' to lake anglers, but are also prevalent in rivers as well. Callibaetis hatches are prevalent on many rivers, and can be THE hatch on lakes.
